What is a life coach?

I often get asked do I need coaching or do I need therapy? Finding a coach or a therapist is a little but like dating, you have to try them out and see who you feel comfortable with and feel like they are going to lead you in your process.

The difference between a life coach and a psychologist or therapist is that Life coaches don’t need formal training to be a life coach. Psychologyst, therapist or counseling have a years of university training, some specialize in different areas of mental health.

A life coach is someone who mentors, supports, using honed communication skills to help you unlock your potential.

My method, I was trained to never view my clients as broken. I believe that when we are born into the world we are pure whole and worthy but because of pain shame and social programming we lose our true self. My goal as a coach is to uncover your treasure.

It can feel like counseling because coaches help you break free of limiting beliefs so sometimes they will ask where you started believing what you believed.
